Cavity Tray Refurbishment

The GW294 Refurbishment Horizontal Tray is meant to shield an existing wall from a new horizontal roof abutment. It can also be used in cases where the original system has decayed or been removed from the wall structure. It can also be utilised in horizontal new-build scenarios or in conjunction with the GW295 Horizontal Tray. The trays do not need to be overlapped because they include integral stop ends and a hook function, giving them a total effective length of 450mm. The front mortar clip on the tray can be removed at any moment after the mortar has set, leaving a 25mm deep slot into which the lead is put and secured using lead wedges.Weep must be used in each tray to drain away the collected water. The GW294 Refurbishment Tray can also be supplied with short, standard or long lead stapled and sealed to the tray in either code 4 or code 5 (special order).
